Red Peppercorn Steak Marinade

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup olive oil or walnut oil
  • ½ cup sherry wine vinegar or ½ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1 tbsp red peppercorns
  • 1 tsp Italion seasoning
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  • Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Prepare your steak (or poultry) as needed and marinate for at least 6 hours.
  • If grilling, double the recipe and set half aside for basting.

Works well with thicker cuts of steak, such as NY Strip.
