Saint Patrick’s Day is fast approaching and to help celebrate the holiday, we’re revamped and updated some of Professional Recipes to help celebrate the holiday!
The Featured Recipe this month is a wonderful St Pattys Day Corned Beef! Traditional, delicious and easy to make, this one is sure to be a hit!
Be sure check out the Irish Potatoes recipe. This one’s a family recipe, but I’m sure it’s the same as a few others, or very similar. They’re very easy to make and just about everybody loves em!
Normally, I’ll go out and taste some local Irish fare and have a few rounds with some family and friends as there is a good bit of Irish in my family. Ham and Cabbage, Irish Potatoes, and of course this year I am making the Corned Beef and Cabbage! More on that to come.
So come check out all of our Gourmet Recipes and be sure to stop by for more site updates and more recipes!
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

I came across this great link about making girl scout cookies at home and I wanted to share it. The woman, Nicole, took the descriptions of the cookies and did her best to recreate them from this and her memory.
Homemade Girl Scout Cookies
This one is for making the Samoa’s cookies in particular but there are links to some of the other famous kinds (like Thin Mints!!!).
Enjoy!

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog! This is the blog for ProfessionalRecipes.com and part of “phase 1″ of the latest incarnation of my website. Although I am familiar with blogging, this is the first time I’ll be blogging regularly (or as much as possible). While there is still lots of work to be done, this will serve as a place of information on the site, updates, interesting recipes, information about food and drink and any other topic that I feel pertain to the site and the community that I am hoping to build.
While the new site is not yet complete, it is very close and most likely by the time anyone reads this, it’ll be up and running smoothly. For those who have been to ProfessionalRecipes.com in the past, you’ll be surprised at the newest version of the site once it is completed. I’ve tried to go “web 2.0″ (or as close as possible) with a simplistic design, more recipes, etc. As time goes on, I’ll add new features to work towards the goal of a truly interactive community of sharing recipes, posting comments, messages, groups, etc. A lofty goal indeed!
For those who are new to ProfessionalRecipes.com, thank you for visiting the website. I hope you enjoyed your visit and found something of use. I encourage feedback about the site and the blog here (feel free to post a comment on either). Perhaps you found this blog first, if so, please take a look at the main site if you are interested in that sort of thing and let me know what you think.
That’s about it for now. Stay tuned for more information and I’ll do my best to keep you updated! Glad to be aboard the wordpress.com ship, looking forward to the ride!
